Blockchain Expert / Solution Architect
Location: Remote
As a Blockchain Expert / Architect, you will act as a technical leader and visionary. You
will design the high-level architecture for blockchain platforms, evaluate protocols and
technologies, set standards, guide development teams, and ensure the scalability,
security, and robustness of our systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Define architecture and technology direction for blockchain infrastructure, smart contract systems, cross-chain gateways, consensus layers, etc.
- Evaluate and select blockchain protocols, frameworks, and tools (e.g. rollups, L2s, zk-proof systems, cross-chain messaging)
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to development teams
- Review and approve smart contract designs, security audits, performance optimizations
- Ensure alignment with security, compliance, and audit requirements
- Drive scalability, modularity, upgradeability, and future-proofing of systems
- Lead proofs-of-concept (PoCs) and R&D eOorts on emerging technologies (zero- knowledge proofs, sharding, layer-2, etc.)
- Architect cross-chain and interop solutions (bridges, relayers, messaging protocols)
- Collaborate with product, security, legal, and operations teams to translate business goals into technical solutions
- Participate in industry engagement: standards bodies, open-source communities, protocol governance
Qualifications / Requirements
- 5+ years of blockchain / distributed systems experience, with track record of leading architecture and design
- Advanced degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Cryptography, Distributed Systems, or related field
- Deep understanding of consensus algorithms, cryptography, zero-knowledge proofs, sharding, etc.
- Experience designing and deploying large-scale blockchain systems in production
- Strong knowledge of multiple architectures: EVM, non-EVM, layer-1, layer-2, rollups, sidechains, interoperability protocols
- Proven experience with smart contracts, on-chain governance, cross-chain design
- Familiarity with protocol development, implementing forks, upgrades, module systems
- Security-first mindset; experience with audits, formal verification
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to translate high-level business goals into robust technical roadmaps
