The role, in plain terms
PULSE.digital is looking for a Fullstack Engineer to join a technical team and contribute to the development of AI-assisted document analysis solutions. You will work on systems that transform complex documents into structured and actionable data, while contributing across backend development, document processing, RAG and LLM workflows, APIs, and frontend development.
Your responsibilities
What you will actually do.
Design and develop scalable backend services using Python, Django and Django Ninja.
Build document ingestion and processing pipelines, including OCR, PDF parsing and layout analysis.
Develop RAG and retrieval workflows for large and complex document sets.
Implement structured LLM workflows, agent and tool-calling systems using modern AI frameworks.
Build and integrate APIs and frontend interfaces using React and Next.js.
Work with PostgreSQL and vector stores to structure, store and retrieve document data.
Ensure traceability, evaluation and observability across AI-powered features.
Contribute to technical and product decisions within a small, collaborative engineering team.
Who we are looking for
What you already master.
Strong experience in backend development with Python and Django.
Experience designing APIs with Django Ninja or a similar framework.
Hands-on experience with RAG systems, including chunking, embeddings, indexing and retrieval.
Practical experience with structured LLM workflows, Pydantic AI or an equivalent framework.
Understanding of agents, tool calling and the modern LLM ecosystem.
Experience with React and Next.js, or Svelte with a willingness to work with React.
Solid knowledge of SQL and relational database modelling with PostgreSQL.
Experience working with OCR, PDF parsing and real-world document processing.
Familiarity with document conversion and layout analysis tools such as Docling.
Good software engineering practices, including Git, testing and maintainable code.
English proficiency is required.
