We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Backend PHP Developer, specialized in the Laravel 10 framework and possessing strong expertise in MySQL. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust Laravel-based applications that power our web systems. Your expertise in PHP development, SQL databases, and web architecture will be crucial in delivering high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain efficient and scalable PHP applications using the Laravel 10 framework, following best practices and coding standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and provide accurate project timeline estimates.
Create and optimize SQL queries and database structures to ensure efficient data retrieval and storage in a MySQL environment.
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services to enhance system functionality and integration capabilities.
Ensure the security and integrity of our applications by implementing appropriate security measures and following secure coding practices.
Perform thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve software defects and performance issues.
Use version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage source code and collaborate effectively with other developers.
Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies, trends, and industry best practices to continuously improve development processes and recommend innovative solutions.
Full proficiency in French and English.
Qualifications:
Extensive expertise in Backend PHP development with advanced mastery of the Laravel 10 framework.
Strong working experience with relational databases, particularly MySQL.
Solid understanding of web architecture, including HTTP, REST, and API design.
Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Livewire and Alpine.js.
Knowledge of front-end technologies, including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, is a plus.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Excellent problem-solving skills and great attention to detail.
