We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Backend PHP Developer, specialized in the Laravel 10 framework and possessing strong expertise in MySQL. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust Laravel-based applications that power our web systems. Your expertise in PHP development, SQL databases, and web architecture will be crucial in delivering high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain efficient and scalable PHP applications using the Laravel 10 framework, following best practices and coding standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and provide accurate project timeline estimates.
  • Create and optimize SQL queries and database structures to ensure efficient data retrieval and storage in a MySQL environment.
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services to enhance system functionality and integration capabilities.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of our applications by implementing appropriate security measures and following secure coding practices.
  • Perform thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve software defects and performance issues.
  • Use version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage source code and collaborate effectively with other developers.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies, trends, and industry best practices to continuously improve development processes and recommend innovative solutions.
  • Full proficiency in French and English.

    • Qualifications:

  • Extensive expertise in Backend PHP development with advanced mastery of the Laravel 10 framework.
  • Strong working experience with relational databases, particularly MySQL.
  • Solid understanding of web architecture, including HTTP, REST, and API design.
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Livewire and Alpine.js.
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies, including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, is a plus.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and great attention to detail.
